Lloyd Blackmore Award

The Lloyd Blackmore Award was created to honor a man whose belief changed the course of our founder’s life. Early in his career, Lloyd gave a young welder his first opportunity to run a welding truck an act of trust that carried far more weight than the job itself. Lloyd didn’t just offer work he offered confidence, responsibility, and the belief that potential, when given a chance, can grow into something extraordinary.

Canoco completed multiple turnarounds for Sherritt Technologies with over 110,000 hours of maintenance and fabrication. The team achieved zero weld repairs and zero leaks across 1,985 bolted joints, demonstrating exceptional quality and reliability.

At CNRL’s Horizon site, Canoco delivered over 111,000 hours of shutdown and maintenance work, including exotic welding and fabrication. The project achieved 30,000 leak-free bolted joints and a weld repair rate of just 0.61%.
