Canoco’s Welder Testing & Certification Hub in Fort Saskatchewan is a fully equipped, Authorized testing facility offering a wide range of welder qualification and certification services. Whether you’re preparing for performance qualification testing on Structural Steel or pressure envelope, we have the space, support, and approvals to help you get certified and get ahead.
Now ABSA Authorized
We are proud to be authorized by ABSA (Alberta Boilers Safety Association) to perform external performance qualification testing. Our Certificate of Authorization allows us to test:
- Welders
- Machine Welding Operators
- Pressure Tack Welders
We test to Canoco’s 28 registered Welding procedures or to the Welding procedures supplied by your company. With in-house mechanical testing capabilities, results are available the same day.
CSA Certification
We remain a trusted provider of CWB to conduct welder qualification testing services to CSA W47.1, offering certification in a wide range of positions and processes:

- Positions: Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead
- Processes: SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW
Pricing
- $150 per welding position
- Initial T-Class or Unistrut (all positions): $600
- Certification valid for 2 years
